High Security Features
Security is a high priority built into the design of our systems. Reinforced TV cabinet is alarmed with glass breakage sensor and tamper switch. Remote alarm box at the clerk's station displays the booth number of any booth cabinet being tampered with. Keypad controls allow 3 levels of security access:
With level 1 access the time allotted per quarter, reductions in the time allotted per quarter based on booth occupancy and incentives for the customer to put in larger denominations of money can be adjusted.
Level 2 access allows viewing the cash income of the booths.
Only with level 3 access can the cash income be permanently cleared.
A security code is not required to display the most and least watched 25 channels so that the person changing the movies will know which movies to keep online.
Automatic Restoration after power failure
The distribution cabinet continuously runs diagnostic software and will reset itself, if required. After a power failure, the system resets automatically. Time remaining and channel setting are automatically restored in each booth. Internal data remains undisturbed. Resetting the arcade is performed by pressinq one reset button on the front panel of the distribution cabinet.
Computer-less Control and operation
Computer-independent operation minimizes electronic complexity and enhances reliability. A simple 12-key keypad with an LED display locally controls basic arcade functions, eliminating the computer keyboard, monitor and most accidental system crashes. Though the Arcade system requires no external computer, you may wish to consider using a PC with Video Simplex's control & information system to increase your profits.
Remote modem access
Our system gives you the capability of remote modem access to its financial information. This is very handy for managing the finances of remote store locations without actually having to be there.
